About the Startup World Cup
The Startup World Cup, hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures, is the largest startup competition worldwide, with more than 50 countries taking part every year. Last year the Austrian Angel Investors Association and Austrian Startups brought the competition to Austria for the first time. This year the Startup World Cup Austria is taking place again in May 2022 as part of ViennaUp!
Join the largest pitch competition in the world! On May 30th, during the startup festival ViennaUP’22, the most innovative startups from Austria are competing in the categories Digital Health & BioTech, Social & Climate Impact, Smart City and FinTech & InsurTech for a spot at the World finals in Silicon Valley. All participating startups are early-stage, founded in Austria and looking for investment up to € 1mio.
